Matthew 6:2-4,21
2) Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3) But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
4) That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
21) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Remember, humility comes before honor. Let your blessings of others be done discreetly. God will honor you and you will lay up for yourself many treasures in heaven. If you're doing it for the acceptance and approval of people you already have your reward. Don't speak too much, it's not impressive it just shows your motivation.
A little spirit check for all of us on today. Seek His heart and not His hand. Be blessed.
